Lasting Recovery helped me discover the life I was meant to live. The staff and programming were highly impactful. They were so caring, dedicated and highly skilled. They provided programming for my family. They helped me chart a path post graduation. I can not say enough about them. They were awesome.

Completely broke my trust and betrayed confidentiality.  Extremely disappointing.  I do not recommend.  Does not have qualities that you look for and need in a treatment program.

Judy Saalinger is an extremely knowledgeable, empathetic, and effective mental health clinician with years of experience. Her expertise and understanding of substance abuse assessment and treatment is highly regarded in the recovery community. The patients I have referred to Lasting Recovery have benefitted greatly from the education, groups and aftercare programs. I continue to refer patients to Lasting Recovery for very competent care. First let me say I would give this place 0 stars if I could not 1 star. I wanted to find an intensive outpatient recovery program for my husbands addictions and I called and talked to Tammy. Her help to me was amazing compassionate and kind and we did all the forms and we were both positive and hopeful that now everything was in place for him to start the evening classes since he couldn't do the daytime classes because of work. However once the owner of the program Judy got involved everything went downhill. She basically called late at night before the intake assessment with Tammy and completely demotivated my husband and made it seem like he was a hopeless cause and she was trying to even diagnose him medically over the phone without even seeing him and just seeing a few forms and a 30-45 min phone call. She basically gave him an ultimatum that if he didn't do the day program which he already said he couldn't do that she refused to help him. He was open and positive to recovery until she discouraged him and backed him into a corner knowing he had his own business and couldn't do the daytime program but wanted to do the evening program . The next morning I called to talk to her to figure out what is going on and she was so ridiculously rude and aggressive to me and at first she couldn't even remember who he was and was acting completely senile about the conversation she just had the night before. She was a complete nightmare to me on the phone and yelled at me when I was trying to ask questions and kept telling me what her resume was the whole time in the conversation and how qualified she is instead of answering my questions. She then hung up on me leaving me in tears when I came to them to help me and my family. I would never recommend this place to anyone because a recovery place should be a compassionate and safe place to come to and if the person who started the program treats the patients and their families like this then it's obvious they shouldn't be in the business of helping families overcome recovery.
