Dont hire these guys unless you want incorrect installation, missed appointments, no responses for weeks/months at time, be lied too and they be told sorry we didnt meet your expectations after they left mess after 10 months of broken promises.

Installation was not done properly and had to come back to run a wire after repeated issues and missed appointments. Their lack of follow up, lack of knowledge during install after being reassured. Then, 10 months of back and forth and missed appointments they fixed the issue only to leave a mess. They refused to come back to clean up THEIR mess of caulk, paint and stucco. See the photos.

I decided to add to our existing solar system that was installed back in 2012 because our power bills kept on going up. I contacted 5 different solar companies through Yelp and chose Enlightened. Our experience was 5 star all the way, I would give them 10 stars if I could. They were very consultative during the quoting process, really making sure I understood the options and what was right for our roof. We have clay tile which makes things a little less straight forward. They did the extra work of having the clay tiles removed and picture framed around the solar panels while keeping the cost better than all the competitors. The permitting was quick and easy and our county inspection passed on the first try. They were quick to answer any questions along the way and made sure I was fully satisfied before final payment. Big thanks to the team at Enlightened, great job!

Cant recommend these guys highly enough. I was nervous making such a big purchase from a lesser known company with so few reviews so I did a TON of research on their product. I got 4 quotes and created an Excel spreadsheet comparing panels, inverters, warranties, cost per kWh and of course, price. Their panels are German made, super high quality. The inverter is one of, if not the best on the market. Their warranty matches all the big companies and their price was better. Still, I ran my spreadsheet past two friends in the energy business just to be sure. They gave Enlightened the thumbs up, so I went for it. Bret and his crew were excellent to work with, super responsive and professional. They also did all the paperwork to make the switch with SDG&E and my bill went from $700/mo to $14. I couldnt be happier. My only regret is that I didnt do it sooner.

We are so pleased with our solar system from Enlightened Solar! Even in the middle of this pandemic they were able to get the panels installed safely and on time as promised! So glad we went with our decision to use Enlightened Solar after receiving four other estimates. Brett and his team really came through and our electric bill is down to nothing as we expected!
