Absolutely terrible service.

I love Miyako! Best Japanese restaurant I know I recommend it to all my family and friends. Jay makes the best b&j ceviche and they have the best hot tea! I had to ask for a 3rd order of the ceviche even though I was full just because it tasted so good. There sushi is to die for and the fish is so fresh. You don't want to miss out on this diamond of a restaurant.

Food was amazingon the other hand the service was terrible if you want to wait 1+hours for your dine in or even take out you have found the right place. And what happened to service with a smile.

The owner/manager lady who runs the show is extremely rude and insensitive. Waiting time at times are more than 45 minutes and when you order to go it will get prepared incorrectly. For example we ordered the soup and few sushi rolls and when we got home we noticed the soup had no juice, just the vegetables in the bottom. I returned the next day and got a refund and when explained the situations to the lady manager she just laughed and made me very angry how insensitivity she managed the situation. The food in general was not too bad and its sad in a way we will not be giving our business to them in the future. They did not seem to appreciate it especially when they get a little busy.

Most of the 5 ratings fake here. I've met and experienced arrogant and rude workers at restaurants, especially in NYC, but never met this kind of rude person before. The supervisor was trying to teach me how to use ApplyPay. He asked to come around the corner, which I did as politeness whereas I was expecting them to help with the payment while I was siting on my table. He was constantly "forcing me" to scan while I was waiting him to shut up so I can talk and ask if he can add a tip for the hard working lady. Once done, he was saying to exit. Who the heck you think you can tell what to do to me? It was a worst day! I recommend NOT to go here.
