Kevin did a beautiful job on our bathtub. Our. Bathroom looks brand new. It’s actually over forty years old. I considered replacing the tub but since we rarely use it I decided to take a chance having it refinished instead. I am very pleased with it.

Just had my bathtub resurfaced. It was done by an employee who is rather new to the company. He did a good job. I stayed home while the work was being performed in order to monitor my pets and their well being. I was told that would be OK. But while I stepped out briefly to use the restroom at a nearby store, the painting begun. When I returned home my apartment was filled with fumes. I desperately and frantically tried to aeriate my apartment with every means I could find. I managed to save the lives of my pets. But it was hard, if not impossible, to seal off the room they're in from the paint fumes. I probably would have been more effective if I didn't leave when I did. I could have taken those measures sooner and avoided the concentration of fumes. This employee said, "didn't they tell you not to be here?" I told him no and that had I not been here my pets would have died. Thankfully, I got back home in time to save their lives and get cross ventilation going. It was hard to do that in the first place on such a chilly morning. Then a couple days later, Andre the owner had to come out and take care of a detail. A bug got buried in the paint. It had to be removed and patched up. Overall I was very pleased with the quality and expertise. I found Andre to be very warm and pleasant to talk to. I would recommend to anyone with pets, having work done, keep your pets away in a place sealed off from the paint fumes. I didn't foresee this being a problem for me since I was home except that I had to step out to find a restroom and my timing was bad. My pets are fine but wished I did better. One thing that helped get rid of the paint smell later was putting small bowls of baking powder around and bowls of water and lemon juice. I found those solutions on the web.

I was referred to Mr. bathtub by my contractor and was pleased to find extremely good reviews online. I deliberated back and forth regarding a complete removal and reinstallation in the bathroom or going with the coating services provided by Mr. bathtub. Due to time constraints, and a very friendly office staff, I chose to go the route of Mr. bathtub. They promptly sent a quote, examples of what the work would look like, called me the day prior to confirm, and called me the morning of the work. Overall, excellent communication. I spoke with the actual person doing the work, Kevin, and we went over a couple of the specifics that were unable to be discussed until the project location was seen in person. Kevin informed me of some additional charges to fill some holes were a shower stall it been removed, then perform the work. I receive the invoice from the home office, and there was an unexpected additional charge. I reached out to the office, discussed the situation, and ended up providing some photographs of some of the work, and ultimately ended up on the phone with the owner Andre. I think that bathroom coating is a service most people don’t receive very frequently, so as a customer our information can be somewhat limited. The owner and staff at Mr. bathtub was able to fill in the blanks and create a situation that made sense. Although the process did involve one or two bumps in the road, I ultimately walk away as a satisfied customer who is more than happy to refer this service to other friends with similar needs. Things go wrong… its ALL about resolution.
