        We stopped by on a Saturday. They were easy to spot and there was plenty of parking in the back. There was only one customer ahead of us and the restaurant was not busy at all, much to our surprise. Although its been years, when this location was on E. Alisal it was always full. We ordered menudo and a Captains plate. The menudo however, had much to be desired. It was watery and even after adding all the condiments that we were brought; it lacked flavor. We were incredibly disappointed. It was not what we remembered. The Captains plate was very good. If we decide to come back it will be for the fish n chips. For menudo we will look elsewhere They should stick to making the house special, (i.e fish n chips) if they are unable to find someone that can make a good menudo. Three stars for our server, who was very polite and attentive and for the Captains plate.
