Horrible doctor.

We had to wait to see the doctor for over an hour despite arriving early for the appointment and very few other people in line. Usually dont complain but this was too long. Doctor barely did any checkup before recommending removal.

We have been seeing Dr. Young since my son was about a month old. My son was diagnosed with Laryngomalacia. Being a first time mom, this was very scary to navigate and hear your baby may need surgery. Dr.Young is always very nice, friendly, super positive and supportive at each appointment. I 100% trusted his medial opinion and felt comfort knowing my son had such a good ENT doctor. His bedside manner with infants is also so amazing. All the nurses are excellent with infants as well. All around 5/5 for Dr.Young and the staff in his office.

Making this review now, though our son is 9 months. I need to share our awful experience. We were absolutely horrified with the tongue tie clipping done by Doctor Young. We do not feel confident in the care our newborn son received. We had this done for our last sonand it was 24 hours of pain and healing.We are at 2 weeks since this procedure wasperformed and he is STILL in pain and notfully healed. Our goal of doing this was forour son to nurse better and instead it tooknursing away for us. We are workingeveryday to get him back to trust thebreast. Hearing my infant cry in absoluteagony has stolen the joy of having anewborn. We do not believe that thisprocedure was done correctly and neitherdoes a pediatrician and several ENTs. Noone has ever seen that amount of silvernitrate used on a baby. No baby or familyshould have to experience what we have.His suck is weaker now than it was beforethe procedure and we worry his speechcould be affected later in life.When I asked for a video visit to check on our our son was healing as he was in SO much pain and barely would eat, constantly cry and truly was miserable, we were turned down and told that he would see us in 2 weeks. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. A very traumatic experience for all.
