The salon is clean and modern. Staff is professional, courteous, and not at all pretentious. I've only had 3 long term stylists in the past 25 or so years and they never really cut or colored my hair the way I wanted it. I'd show them pictures but time and again I'd get the same streaky, brassy highlights with the blunt back cut. I just gave up on finding anyone competent and then luck struck! My hairdresser was retiring after 10 years and I was forced to shop around. Found Myles through the recommendation of a friend and he's been amazing. He recommended that I stop highlighting my hair and just use toner and finally, finally gave me an adult haircut...with actual layers and movement! Couldn't be happier. Prices are reasonable and appointments are readily available.

This was the most chill salon I’ve ever been to! The vibe was super calm, I loved the open space/design of the place. It was cool seeing local artists’ work hung up on the walls, too. Laura did my hair and she absolutely rocks. Thank you Mosaic for the exceptional experience! 💖

Unfortunately I had a very unpleasant experience at this Salon. I purchased a groupon voucher (Haircut and Style with Full Highlight or Balayage). Unfortunately this is a scam offer, as you will not receive full highlights/Balayage. I get a balayage done once or twice a year and wanted to try a new salon. This process normally takes 3-4 hours including the cut. I was in and out in 55 minutes. There was no consultation about what I was looking for, my stylist (Lauren) heard me say balayage and then just immediately started applying a random dye to my hair. Half way through she asked whether I preferred it to be warm or whiter but that was about it. No other conversation. The dye was roughly applied to my hair and left on for TEN minutes. I've had to go to another stylist at a different salon to get it fixed and she confirmed that there was no balayage done, just a half head of highlights added to the top section of my hair. These highlights are just striped through and were not blended at all. They were applied very close to my roots and so they just look like old highlights that have grown out. Half of the highlights looked brassy/yellow and the other half were white grey. So obviously completely different to a balayage which is supposed to be a natural/subtle style that includes applying dye to the bottom half of your hair. I went back 30 minutes later to ask for the color to be fixed by the stylist had already gone home. I spoke with another stylist there who agreed the color was not right and they left a note telling the receptionist to contact me the next day. I was not contacted and could not get through by phone. Perhaps you get better treatment if you pay full price but it seems to me like $160 for one hour (she charged an extra 35 for a toner which is ironic considering the results of the color) is actually a real rip off when you can pay $200 for 3-4 hours of treatment. I have booked an appointment with another salon to get this fixed, which will cost me an extra $210. Avoid this offer/salon at all cost. Lesson learned!
