CVS

I had seriously above and beyond great customer service here today. They are awesome in this store. I think I may start driving across town just to come to this cvs instead of the one by my house.

They dont even answer the phone, it just goes to busy. Ive been calling for two weeks straight now with no answer. Time to find a new pharmacy.

Racial profiling and disrespectful staff. March 3rd at around 2:30 PM, myself (white girl), my latino boyfriend and our black friend shopped here. Staff, specifically an older blonde woman with glasses, followed us around our entire visit, constantly passive aggressively asking if we "needed help." She then followed us all the way to the registers, where we attempted to pay for our products at the self check out. She stepped into our personal space to insist that we "can't hover over it (the self checkout machine) like that" and over-explaining the payment process to us, as if we have never used a self checkout machine before. I repeatedly told her, "We know how it works." She then became aggravated, whispering complaints about us while flailing her hands around to her coworker. Then watching us closely as we each payed for our items, and then sent a coworker to "assist" my black friend with his purchase. The coworker stood over him and explained every step of the self checkout process to him like he was 5 years old, and both of them never took their eyes off of us until we were out of the store. At no point did we ask for any kind of help with the self checkout, and we weren't at the machine for even 5 seconds before this woman got into our business. Their insistence was uncomfortable. They were clearly assuming the entire time that one of us would steal. We were not disruptive in any way, and were in and out of the store in about 10 to 15 minutes. I understand being wary of theft, because this CVS is near a high school and all 3 of us are young adults, and I'm sure other students steal from this CVS all the time. However, MANY of my latino friends have stories about the blonde woman following them around and staring as they pay, or yelling at them to "pay or get out" dispite only being in the store a few minutes. I have never seen or heard about this woman following or harassing white teenagers in the same way she does to latino and black teens. This behavior is absolutely disgusting. Like I said, being wary of theft is understandable, but the aggressive and rude behavior is not. I hate to be a "karen," but this was absolutely disrespectful, regardless of her suspicions. Would not reccomend this CVS to any person who values basic respect and decency.
