Steven and Michael arrived and explained in detail what needed to be done.They made sure I understood every step and then went above and beyond my expectations. New service performed 1/9/2023 Again, AAP Home Services gave me outstanding service. I called AAP to fix a slow drain in my Mother's kitchen sink. I received an appointment for a plumber to visit that same day and in the morning. They were very quick to respond. Plumbers Steven and apprentice Chris came and quickly assessed the issue. They cleaned out the drain, and suggested that the kitchen sink faucet needed to be replaced because it was leaking. This was known by my Mother, but she did not tell me this, and was just planning to "live" with the leaking faucet. We also had a leaking garbage disposal as well, which Steven and Chris replaced for us. They sourced both the needed faucet and garbage disposal for us, as I am unable to do so (since I live 400 miles away), and neither is Mom able to do this. They also repiped the PVC under the sink after cleaning out the slow drain, and replacing the faucet and garbage disposal which were both at least 20 years old. A really appreciated fact is that the kitchen sink was as good as new the same day the service was requested, and this required working until very late in the day for both Steven and Chris. My Mother could have been without the use of her sink for a day or more had not Steven and Chris continued to work late to get the job done that same day. Both my Mother and I really appreciated the extra effort Steven and Chris put in to get the job done. Thank you so much, Steven and Chris, and also to AAP Home Services for having such outstanding plumbers. My Mother also mentioned that both Steven and Chris cleaned up after themselves very well.Thanks for that too! Thank you also to the AAP Home Services appointment scheduler for arranging the service for me the same day I called. I suspect she may not receive a lot of credit for her work, but it is crucial and appreciated as well. She made AAP Home Services look very responsive to customer needs today. I have now used AAP Home Services three times, and will continue to call on them for my plumbing needs at my Mother's house. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Services from June 2021 Steven, the AAP Home services plumber, came to my home and repaired one of our toilets which was leaking water from the tank to the bowl, and also was constantly running water slowly into the toilet tank. Steven quickly determined the problem and replaced the toilet fill valve, as well as the flapper. We have older model toilets in the home, and I asked for an estimate for replacing the toilets which Steven promptly gave to me. I also asked Steven to replace a showerhead with one I had on hand. The whole job took about 30 minutes. I also asked him to look at the other toilet in the house as well and ensure that it was working properly, and did not need any repairs. Steven indicated that it was working fine and didn't need any repairs. I appreciated him not "upselling me" to unnecessary repairs. It was a joy to watch him work efficiently and quickly--these jobs would have taken me hours and hours, and I would have been afraid that I would have made the leaking toilet worse. Steven also cheerfully accepted a AAP Home Service gift card to partially pay the bill for the toilet repair. I received this gift card as thanks from AAP Home Services, after having another job performed by the company in May of 2019 (to install a new natural gas line into my garage to run a gas dryer--no previous dryer had been installed in my house). Carlos, the tech who installed that gas line back then, also did quality work on that job. I sing the praises of AAP Home Services, in my opinion a quality company, with expert plumbers and gas line installers. The only downside is that you might have to wait to get an appointment when you call. I called on a Wednesday, and they couldn't schedule my appointment until Friday. The company seems to be very busy, no doubt because of the quality work they do, which many repeat customers seem to know about. Services: Toilet repair, Shower repair
