Dr. Portwood always seems bothered by his job. He is not a nice man or a good dr in my opinion!

Dr. Portwood did both my right and left shoulder surgeries. He was very informative and up front on what to expect and length of rehab it would take to get back to normal. Thank you Dr. Portwood for a job well done.

The office staff arranged for my appointment that I made with Dr. Portwood with the other doctor who shares the suite with him , without even notifying me. Per the office supervisor,"the doctors do the same thing". Would not allow me to see Dr. Portwood for the appt. time I was scheduled for.Sorry to say,never did see the doctor but if his office personnel are this incompetent can't help wondering how the dr Is. Would not even rate my experience one star

Been a patient here since 1985.  At that time Dr. Allen Wolfe started the practice/business.  Dr. John Portwood joined later and continued the supreme care of treating and communication for their patients. Granted office staff come and go, but it's the Doctor who is treating and performing surgery on you. I've had numerous procedures by Dr. Portwood, all that have healed and function back to normal, by following his advice and directions. Remember while looking at the other negative reviews, these people may have their own personal mental/physical problems and are expecting miracles. Ask questions, don't be a moron, have good paying insurance or cash.
