Let me begin by saying if you value your life dont go to Dr James Silva . Hes not a doctor but a butcher. He did the worst job on my moms surgery basically cut off her toes so wrong and they have never been the same again she needed so much therapy and almost lost her foot. Just horrible

Dr. DeSila was reasonably priced and could do the exrays and tests in office. He wanted to try all non-usrgical options first. Great bedside manner. Not a long wait in office.

I agree with Jen B. %100. I was a patient of Dr. De Silva, however, and he is a crook in every sense. As well, the condescension is almost intolerable. I originally had an orthopedic made 6 years ago and went in to get the worn out inserts refurbished and inquire about sport inserts, a $500 purchase. His pushy sales nature was unnerving, the only thing he cared about was getting me to buy the inserts.Some of the staff are unhelpful and downright rude, as well, they lost (more likely; threw away) my chart before the 7 year grace period for record holding had ended. As well, do NOT expect them to follow through on anything they state.It is a miserable, uncaring, money machine. Do yourself a favor and explore any other specialist within traveling distance and avoid this corrupt business.

First let me say that I only gave one star because no stars is not an option. I saw Dr. Tsutsumi, who works out of the same office.  I went in for treatment for plantar fasciitis.  He asked me what caused it, and I told him it was caused by a bad pair of shoes.  If he even listened to my answer he didn't give it any credence, and insisted that it was caused by overpronation.  If he would have even once, bothered to have me walk or look at my feet while standing, he would have seen that I don't overpronate.So over the next few weeks he proceeded to give me three very painful shots I did not want, and ordered expensive orthotics I didn't need to correct a problem I did not have.I thought being a woman may have been why I felt so bullied by him, so on one visit I had my husband talk to him.  He ignored his concerns and was very condescending.Finally, when nothing he did was helping, and refusing to listen to his recommendations that were making the problem worse, I decided never to go back.I did some simple research, and through exercises, stretching and eliminating problem footwear, I have corrected the problem myself.Unless you like being ignored, bullied and condescended to, I would avoid this doctor.  I never saw Dr. De Silva, but if he keeps a practice with such an awful partner, I can't imagine that he would be much better.
