As I was apartment hunting I came across this property and thought it would be a great place to live. However, I was taking advantage of for being a first time renter. I called the office while I was doing my application being my first time I had a lot of questions. When it got to the part to pay the $45 fee I questioned it since there was a waiting list. I was told since their was a waiting list I would not have to pay until they called me back to see if I was still interested and authorized it. On March 31st I completed the application and received my confirmation email. On April 4th I see a charge on my account for the $45 that was processing. I emailed them about the lack of authorization and what I was told. On March 5th they replied claiming it was a misunderstanding on their end. Stating that I applied for an available unit however they were informed of everything I was doing, as I was on the phone with them while I was doing the application questioning everything. After requesting a refund and expressing the lack of information given would have caused me to avoid this all together. They ask me if I want to move on with the process. After stating that I do not they completely go silent. This place is not first time renting friendly and scammed me for no reason. Its 2021 I thought we were doing better.
