No mailbox for over a month. No updates as to when we will have a mailbox again. The ladies in the office do not tell you when you have mail, you have to ask them everyday.

I lived in canyon crest apart from 3 month. Apartment are good but staff is very rude. Security is a big concern here. I had a instance where my window was shot by an air gun. After that when I reported this instance to the leasing office they casually said that it might have been a mistake. I made up my mind to leave this place. After all this the leasing staff told me that they had to find a replacement for me and when I followed up on the status of replacement they were extremely rude with me. Not only that when I left I had to pay approximately $ 500 from my security deposit as a fees to maintain my apartment. They did not had a little bit of courtesy to give me compensation for this incidence. On top of it they were extremely rude with me and very casual about this incidence. Make you decision wisely!

No hot water or heat during December-January. Staff was very rude and very slow to fix the problem. Had to get code enforcement involved to get it repaired. When they finally fixed it, they only offered to reimburse us for 2 weeks even though it was a month of no hot water or heat. They gave us 3 days to sign it and added a clause saying we agree that the apartment complex tried their hardest to fix it. Very shady! For us who did not sign it on time we didnt get anything. Horrible experience. And now we have had no mailboxes for over a month with no explanation or apologies for the inconvenience!! If your child is a UCR student, get them other housing. So much theft here and staff is RUDE!

Leasing office ignored maintenance request to fix our heater in the winter where my 10 month olds room reached as low as 55 three nights in a row. Two weeks went by with no update or response until contacted a third time. They then sent maintenance but with no heads up and maintenance entered with no notice of entry no text not communication what so ever s d scared myself and baby. We were then lied to theee days later then they sent maintenance again AFTER TEXTING ME SAYING THEY TRIED AND I SENT HIM AWAY and we were told that he was instructed to tell leasing office to put us in the list with the other units with broken heaters and they will let us know when the hvac company will come. Three days and no update so I reached out again. They resent maintenance who then said he can Instal temp heaters we asked why this was not done three weeks ago when we submitted the request or when he came the first time and he said the office tells me when to install them and where but we have been installing these in units for months cause all the heaters are failing. We were lied to twice and purposely left without a temporary heater. They have been harassing us like this ever sense I got upset about my car being broken into the third time and they promised they were installing more cameras but never did and then refused to even call me when I text them about it and asked to be called. I have pages of texts of lies contradicting themselves. My family owns a property management company they violated atleast three laws and rights and Im sure there are more.
