After seeing two other hand surgeons at Stanford, Dr Brody identified my problem as arthritis and NOT Carpal Tunnel syndrome. He knew what he was looking at and saved me from two unnecessary surgeries. The arthritis is what needed to be dealt with. Forever grateful.

After being told by a hand surgeon that I would need to have surgery to repair a torn ligament, I went to Dr. Brody for a second opinion. Unlike the first doctor, Dr. Brody gave me an MRI and was quickly able to discern that there was no tear at all - I simply had a bad sprain. He was incredibly accommodating and Im so glad that I got his opinion before having a completely unnecessary hand surgery!

Dr. Brody operated on my hand. A while after the operation I had the same pain and muscle problems I had before. When I went to see him, all that he did was move my thumb and told me that everything looks good. Asked about the pain all he said was that it would get better. He did another botched job on me, took my money, and NEVER did a follow-up or even tried to correct the problem I originally went to see him for. He enjoys taking your money but not doing the job.Good Luck to the next person who sees him.

I haven't seen Dr. Brody for 25-30 years, but he did two joint replacements in each of my index fingers that had been destroyed by rheumatoid arthritis in 1989 and 1990.  As of 2/15/2019 they are still working well and have stabilized the "drift" that happens with R.A.  I healed very quickly and don't even have any scars!!  Meanwhile, I moved to Arizona and without exception, the doctors down here are uncaring and rude.  They all say that they would have fused the joints instead.  So Dr. Brody has given me the greatest gift of 30 years + / - of movement and that allowed me to have all my horses and care for them myself.  I'd post a picture of me riding one of my horses and ponying another 4-5 months after the second surgery, but I don't know how to do it.  I'll try and figure it out./Users/tracywelch/Desktop/DSC_0346.jpeg
