Pushy sales reps with gimmicky ploys to try to close you on high end appliances. Rep told me it was end of month so she had some "extra" discounts that gave me another 500 discount for over 8k of appliances. I mean yes 500 might be a lot but to close me on a sat evening end of month who needs the sale or should I shop around? I obviously decided to shop around instead of letting this high pressure almost car salesman pressure me into a sale that I could only save $500. (Rest of appliances were MSRP btw)

I am in the middle of kitchen renovation chaos; Meeting Charles Thompson was awesome. In the late afternoon I stopped at Pacific Sales - within a minute I was greeted by Charles. He was friendly and approachable, and easy to talk to. I explained that I was not a fan of stainless appliances, but the look of the white ones I had found just didn't feel right for my new kitchen. The refrigerator is going to be the monster in the new open design, regardless of what I get but to me, grey stainless is basically in your face obnoxious. Charles listened to my concerns, mentioned the 2 brands that offer the most variety in white, then asked if I had seen Whirlpool's new stainless color, Sunset Bronze. Wow! It's amazing. Charles had a floor model of every piece, and seemed to have the options & details on the tip of his tongue. He patiently walked me through all the samples, and checked on different sizes to see if they were also available in Bronze. His knowledge of this new product was exceptional, it had only been in local stores a few days. He understood right away that the Sunset Bronze offered a warmer feeling stainless, which is exactly what I was looking for, but didn't exist until now. I was thrilled with my visit to the store, but the trip was a success thanks to Charles' professional competence, genuine interest, and friendly approach. Though it was almost closing I never felt rushed or pushed. Many thanks to Charles, and to Pacific Sales for offering an exceptional sales person.
