I was a manager there, it was a fun place to work at. Unfortunately the owner of the business didn't not run this business properly. Between favoritism and irresponsibly a lot of the employees where very unsanitary. When I reported the issue to the owner the subject was dismissed. In disbelief I reported it to the health department, After investigation the business failed for many reasons. Some in which are so disgusting it was hard for me to fathom. The owner wanted the issues kept quiet and began discriminating me and I quit on may 15th of 2014. On July the 4th 2014 the business had caught fire in the kitchen due to the oven that had been leaning against a wood cubby shelf for years. Another Hazzard in which i brought up and was dismissed prior. Unfortunately the legendary Zeppys Pizza of Redondo beach CA is permanently closed do to the heavy damage sustained by the fire. Perfect example of "I told you so" I had made some great memories and met some very nice people working on the pier. Unfortunately all good things come to a end eventually. RIP Zeppys Pizza. 😒
