Michael helped my husband and I so our daughters could stay together and go to school with one another. We were battling with my husbands ex over which city our child would spend her school years in. We are so grateful for him and his legal team. They are communicative and on top of it. We ended up happy with our results. Highly recommended!

BEWARE! Michael Young pays Google to take bad reviews off of their site. Real reviews are on Yelp!
AND HE HAS FAKE POSITIVE REVIEWS. SEE YELP!
Yet another monthly bill for services that we not rendered.
As I have stated in previous Yelp reviews this lawyer is only out for his own pocket. He does not care if he wins your case or not! He only wants money from you. His quality of work is horrific! He did not get me ANYTHING. I RECEIVED NOTHING FROM him in the eight months that I hired him for. He makes back door negotiations with Opposing Counsel and will have you submit paperwork that will not help your case. I had to FIRE him and get a new attorney who in turn was able to get me at least alimony that Mr Young didn't even try to get me. Mr.Young had the gall to then insulted me and tell me that I didn't even know how much money my own company made. To that I say, "he DOES NOT know how to be an attorney." He will grab your case as fast as possible if you seem at all desperate. No game plans and r advice as to how he will handle your case. And will do NOTHING for you, except bill you excessively on a monthly basis. And for what? Emails!
I fired Mr Young 8 months ago after he walked out receiving a $5,000 check from the respondent. I had Witnesses in the hallway that heard Mr Young tell me that "you owe me nothing we are square. You won't receive a bill this month." within 3 days I received a bill for almost $5,000. Mind you I still had not even received a judgment from the courts regarding alimony. He comes to court unprepared. He loses paperwork consistently and has you re-email them to him so that he can double charge you for the extra email. Even if you want ro hand him paperwork in person, he will tell you to email it to him. This way he makes more money. It has nothing to do with the client and everything to do with his pocketbook. And every single month that I continue to receive a bill for services that were not rendered, I will leave an additional Googlereview of one star. Wishing I could leave zero Stars.

I continue to be harassed by the law and office for a bill they did not render services for! Mr. Young was already paid and received payment from the respondent almost a year ago. For which he stats to me you n front of 2 witnesses that I did not owe him any more money. In his exact words "we are square. You owe me nothing." My witnesses wrote out affidavits and submitted them. I had to fire this attorney due to the him making back door negotiations with Opposing Counsel. He did nothing for me! And still get t paid over $16,000

THEIVES. Do not use Michael R Young. He will pretend to care, all while racking up the charges. Here's what happened: my mother paid to have an initial consultation. A lot of places do a free consultation, however we were dealing with a very tricky case, so she decided to pay to speak with him. He told her that he didn't know if he could handle her case and that he would do some research and call her back the next day. He indeed called her back the next day and told her that he thought he could take the case. She was so relieved (as I said this was a tricky case) and immediately put down a $5,000 retainer, and he told her that he would send over the contract. My mom reviewed the contract and did not like the terms, she asked for clarification about some billing policies and decided that she would blow through the $5,000 retainer and then some, who knows how much more, so she decided not to sign the contract and asked him to refund the retainer amount. He then told her that he was keeping the credit card processing fee amount out of the retainer and my mom told him that he was not allowed to do that, he did it anyway and actually took quite a bit more as the amount he kept was almost $800. She disputed the charge with her credit card company. He then submitted a FALSIFIED invoice to the credit card company. He charged her for calling back the next day, after she had already paid for an initial consultation, and he was the one who suggested he would call back the next day. He also zeroed out the initial consultation charge on the invoice, suggesting that he waived it as if my mother DIDNT pay $200 already on a other charge, then added a $90 charge for the phone call the next day that he initiated. He also charged her for a welcome packet/beginning work for a strategy on May 4th when she told him on May 2nd that she would not be using his services and to refund the money. The credit card company said that he could charge the credit card processing fees if that was in the contract. My mom told them she never signed a contract, they then said "oh well you may have a case but it would have to be solved through civil matters." This man knows that my mother was going through an extremely devastating period, in regards to my brother, HER SONS DEATH and trying to see her grandson. He used that to STEAL her money, he did absolutely no work on this case except for a consultation which he double charged her for, he falsified an invoice and I'm pretty sure all of this goes against the bar association rules. What an absolutely sorry excuse for a human, let alone a lawyer, Michael.
Avoid using this man at all costs, lest he rack those up too.
