Beautiful job on our home. The attention to detail and the craftsman ship was absolutely stunning and Rodriguez General Contracting and Custom Painting did a phenomenal job on our home remodel. They were clean, always on time and within our budget!

At least the home is painted and they are out of our hair! THAT'S not a ringing endorsement. Even as I am writing this, I’m wondering how we got into this situation with these people. Drew is the head of this crew. He met with us and promised us the moon and the stars! He told us his work was 100% guaranteed and he stressed how he would do anything for satisfaction and in exchange we would write them a good review.
In the end everything got done but it took arguments with them, a disgruntled employee of theirs banging on our door after 10 pm at night, dangerous fumes coming into our home while our newborn baby was in the house (we had to convince them to stop and find another way of painting our front door!!), our plants and windows painted on, pizza boxes and trash left all over the outside of our house including the pool, broken roof tiles galore, etc.
We ended up doing endless walk throughs every time they said they were done. On one of those, Drew began talking over me defensively as I tried to explain why it wasn't OK for his workers to paint our landscaping. The man wasn't willing to listen to our concerns and came across as put out by our worries of damage to our property in the process. Even what must have been the 20th walk through (no exaggeration) was hard to get scheduled as Drew became unresponsive for a bit and too over scheduled to come see a project under crisis.
Lesson learned for us. Don't try to get your house painted on the cheaper end. You'll pay dearly in headaches and shoddy work. 😔
