Update: I was contacted via email regarding my review, and I have since responded, but no one has responded to my email. The account was sent to collections even though the agency said that they wanted to discuss my concerns with me. This has been an absolute nightmare. I leased at Village at Henderson and was a great tenant. Upon putting in my 30-day notice, the front office gave me false guidance. I left the apartment is perfect condition and they still charged me hundreds of dollars. They led me to believe that I would be getting my security deposit back and instead charged me so that I would still owe. I went in to speak with the front office and they redirected me to a collection agency which did not help in any way. I felt that the front office was extremely dismissive and treated the whole situation poorly. They clearly were not willing to talk to me. I do not recommend this apartment complex. Be careful, especially if you value your great creat score. I fulfilled the term of my lease and provided the 30-day notice. The front office told me not to make the final payment and that we would finalize everything after the apartment was inspected. I left the apartment in perfect condition, and the office representative even complimented how the apartment was cleaned. In the end they charged me a late fee for the final payment even though I was instructed to not pay it until after the final inspection. I was charged multiple cleaning fees and I have the final inspection that states that everything was in good condition. I was charged $4 dollars for the garage rental and they made me wait over a week for the garage key at the beginning after charging me for the full month. The charges they listed were that ridiculous. I tried to speak with the front office given my good and professional relationship with them, but again they were dismissive. Document everything if you rent from them and do not trust their guidance. They will not have your best interest in mind. I will pay the balance because I value my credit score, but I will never recommend this place. They were awful in the end.

My fiance and I applied a couple weeks ago. As someone who's traveled around California and lived in different apartments, I'm aware that it doesn't take a while to process an application. Similar to a recent reviewer, I keep being told that all the manager has to do is approve our application. Even if this was true, Conam apparently claims to care about their future residents but this just shows that they don't. Please don't waste your time applying to this place. I'm assuming they do this in order to collect more holding deposits and fees. Calling the regional manager is no help at all either, since she never answers the phone. In general, they're highly unprofessional and greedy. I am sorry to anyone who has wasted their time and money applying for this place and waiting when they could have been applying to other places. Conam has no regard for other people's times, and are only in it for the business.

I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the maintenance service and lack of communication at The Village. The central air conditioning system in my apartment has been broken for nearly three weeks, and the response from the management has been nothing short of abysmal. It all began when I first reported the issue. The maintenance guy provided me with a portable air conditioning unit as a temporary solution, but this was only meant to last through the weekend. Throughout the following week, I made numerous attempts to contact the property managers, but my calls and messages went unanswered. A week later, I received an email implying that someone would come to inspect and repair the air conditioning system in my apartment. However, when I checked, it was still not functioning, indicating that no one had even bothered to show up. This was a clear sign of their complete disregard for their tenants' comfort and well-being. Frustrated and angry, I called the property again, demanding an update on when the necessary repairs would be made. I was informed that a new compressor was needed and that they would expedite its arrival due to the excessively long wait. At the beginning of the following week, I called once more to inquire about the compressor's status, only to be met with shocking incompetence. The receptionist informed me that she had no knowledge of any compressor being ordered, leaving me in disbelief and rage. I requested to speak with the property manager, but none were available. I pleaded with the receptionist to relay my message and have the manager call me back, but my request was blatantly ignored. I never received a call back, despite the urgency and severity of the situation. Adding insult to injury, my repeated calls today have gone unanswered. The lack of response and utter disregard for my predicament is beyond comprehension. As if the situation wasn't dire enough, the planet is currently experiencing its hottest days on record this month, and I am left without the air conditioning system that I am paying for. The maintenance service is inadequate, the communication is nonexistent, and the management's apathy towards tenant concerns is absolutely unacceptable. Your comfort and peace of mind will not be a priority here.
