Not a bad place for a drink if your a wine drinker it's ok couple of dark beers on the menu. Good food but if you are passing through stop on by great steak and plenty of side dishes. A little pricey but a lot better than the sportsman's or Foresters. Food : 4/5 | Service : 4/5 | Atmosphere : 4/5 More

After talking to the owners they resolved the issue of the Clam Chowder. Upon discovering the error made by doctoring it was resolved and a new correct batch was immediately made. Excellent as usual.

The service was great and loved the remodel of the restaurant, we got to sit by the fire! I really wanted to love the food, because it's a local restaurant...however it just did not have very much flavor and we were disappointed. We spent a lot for a meal we did not enjoy. But I have seen good reviews as well, so try it out and decide for yourself!

Possibilities abound, ambiance is pretty nice, friendly reception/waitstaff, good beer/wine/cocktai selections, however my glass of beer had something stuck to the inside, was given a new replacement, but kind of set the tone going forward. Good menu choices(red meat inflation is ridiculous), ordered cider brined pork chop with apple butter, was delivered in a timely manner, cooked well, but missing the anticipated apple kick. Mash potatoes were presented well, but lukewarm and pretty bland, the accompanying vegetables were only delivered after asking the waitstaff midway through my plate. Perhaps an off night at our table and will give them another try down the road to see if any improvements are implemented.
