We love coming to Corner bakery! There's something for everyone in my family. I love the tomato basil soup and Santa Fe ranch salad, my oldest daughter always gets pesto cavatapi or Alfredo. One entree order of linguine and meatballs is big enough for my 10-year-old boys to share. The oldest boy tried his sister's pesto cavatapi and decided he wants that next time. Update: The three little kids shared two entree orders of pesto cavatapi this evening. Two of them loved it. I had the loaded potato soup tonight. It was amazing. I also had half of a spicy balsamic pulled pork panini. It was okay but not my favorite. Husband enjoyed the crisp spinach salad. The staff was super friendly.

This was a great place for meetings, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They had good food and service was on/off. Seems they had high employee turnover. So sad to see them permanently closed.

Love the Corner Bakery Cafe! I have never had a bad experience when eating or ordering here. In fact, the Corner Bakery Cafe could be considered one of my go-to default restaurants. It's cute. They have an array of desserts to choose from, all really delicious and all decently affordable. Their menu items are mostly soups, sandwiches, and salads, of which I've mostly ordered the salads and soups. I'm not much of a sandwich person. But I have to say I've thoroughly enjoyed the soups and salads I've had. On my recent visit, I was only going in for the free sweet they were offering me as a "Happy Anniversary" gift for being a part of their eCafe club. But I hadn't had their food for quite some time, and they were definitely a favorite when I lived in Orange County, I made the decision to sit down and enjoy a hot bowl of their Zesty Chicken Tortilla Soup. It was perfect, especially since the weather had cooled down quite a bit. Even though it was a really quick trip, it was comforting to just sit and relax and enjoy a familiar favorite in a new area. I did wind up cashing in on my free sweet, I normally would order the Raspberry bar they offer, but they were all out when I visited. So I opted for the Pecan Bar, which is naturally just a good. While I haven't broken into the pecan bar yet, I am definitely looking forward to enjoying and savoring each bite. It's not every day I get to go to Corner Bakery Cafe. I didn't order a beverage on this visit, as it would be much too cold and would completely negate my hot bowl of their delicious zesty chicken tortilla soup. Again, like all my visits to Corner Bakery Cafe the service was great, smiles, friendliness, helpful, welcoming and more! I love the Corner Bakery Cafe and I am glad to have one so conveniently close by with plenty of parking in the downtown shopping area of Pleasant Hill.
