We enjoyed the chemistry feel and the clear family nature of the place. Smaller so it feels more 1-on-1. Their wines were a bit more fruity than I tend to like but my wife liked them enough to buy a bottle. They have a periodic table decorating thief wall along with a titration setup and a lab still, which is awesome. They also let you munch on the grapes lining the walk up to the tasting room.

What a great little winery. If you are visiting Paso Robles and you like Zinfandel... stopping by Nadeau is a MUST! Let's be honest, learning about wine and all the different varietals can be a bit overwhelming and intimidating for your average Joe. Soooo many of the wineries my wife and I have visited over our multiple trips to Paso have that air of arrogance and superiority, making their staff feel very unapproachable to the novice wine drinker. With that kind of approach you'd expect the wine to speak for itself... Nope. Nadeau is very different experience. Driving up and seeing the quaint little tasting room you instantly get that small town Mom and Pop feel, like you're coming to visit an old friend. Robert, the owner and winemaker, is there many days to personally greet his guests and welcome them to his family winery. We've always felt that they go out of their way to make their guests feel comfortable, something that's becoming somewhat rare in Paso Robles. I've asked many (what I feared) were stupid grape growing and wine related questions over my multiple visits. I have always been reassured that there are no stupid questions and asking questions is how one learns. Each time we visit we enjoy ourselves even more than the last. And Finally... The WINE! Wow! It's CrAzY Good! We joined the wine club and after this last visit/tasting and I'll bet you do too! Cheers!
