Galanga Take Two

Came here with my mom for lunch and we were both pleasantly surprised. Decent portions at a very affordable price, the taste was fantastic. We had the pad thai and panang curry. Will definitely be back!

This restaurant is the one I always prefer. I eat in plenty of restaurants but to this place I keep coming back again and again. The team is very affectionate and the cooking they cook is so fresh and tasty. I never decline to have a decent dinner in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.

We like this place. Try the duck curry, or the eggplant, and get a tray of chili condiments, because they don't make their food spicy by default. We meet here with SPLASH (S. P. Local Area Secular Humanists) the 2nd Monday of every month from 6 to 9 PM. Come join us if you like, or move to the other side of the restaurant for some quiet time.

It’s been over a year since I’ve last been here because of it having been closed due to Covid. I was wondering if it is open yet or will be open in the future? The food was absolutely fantastic. The panang curry can only be described as the elixir of life, and the pad Thai was amazing. I had the dumplings with panang curry sauce as well and if I never get to have the experience of tasting that again I might go insane. It was so good. Whenever I visited my Mom in Pasadena this is one of the main things I would look forward to. I need the peace of knowing that I will get to taste the amazing food from here again, and because of that, will someone please tell me the state of this restaurant and if it is open/will be open in the future. Thank you galanga for the amazing food.
