Furman Medical Corporation

Dr. Furman was mine and my husband's Primary Care Dr. for over 15 years. Took care of my husband thru cancer, two bypass surgeries, and countless other near death experiences. Like another person said, his wife is the office manager and she is a MISERABLE, woman. When she told me the day before our appt. I would need to pay $500 (our annual copay) up front or the dr. wouldn't see us I got in an argument with her. The next thing I know, the nurses call to tell me Dr. Furman had severed the relationship WITHOUT giving my terminally ill husband his pain meds (and me). We rushed to a Pain Mgmt. dr. who couldn't help us because Furman refuses to return his calls. It's not been 10 days with no pain management for a terminall ill man. This office is horrible and his wife needs to learn some common decency.

We have been coming to Dr. Furman for a few yrs now. ( it's time to switch), Honestly he's not your typical doctor that diagnosis you with something, the only thing he really does is send you out for blood work and test. Now the worst part about it, is that his wife is the office manager and she has such an awful attitude. She is very rude, disrespectful and all she cares about is the co pay.They charge you 30.00 for cancellation, 45.00 for FML. It's all about $$$$. The office manager( wife) is miserable and needs to stay home. One more thing, April and Layne are great.
