I think I tried this for a few months or so. The neurofeedback seemed ok. Staring at a computer and trying to control your brainwaves. This part is fine. But I'm giving two stars because I'm generous and because the provider "double dipped." Yes, you heard that correctly. She took full payment of my sessions, and she also took what the insurance was giving her on the other end, without letting me know. In other words, she was getting paid twice for one service. The payment (reimbursement) was supposed to be given to the patient. If you consider seeing this provider, you have to ask yourself if you can handle seeing someone who doesn't know how insurance works or is dishonest about how she handles money. At first I thought that maybe she didn't know what she was doing, but that was not the case. She knew. I was paying for like 10 sessions at a time. It was quite an ordeal to sort it out with the insurance before they got her to confess. And even after she was caught she tried to write me a check for an amount that was less than what she was given by the insurance. I again tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, that maybe she didn't know better. After my bad experience, I asked the provider for money back for unused sessions because I felt bad about going to see her after this had happened. She refused to give me any money back for unused sessions. Buyer beware. And really, beware, like you'll have to bend over backwards, watch your back.

i paid for my sessions up front, about 10 at a time, maybe 20. It was not cheap, for n----feedback. the practitioner did something strange later on - when the insurance company sent reimbursement checks to the provider (which were for me), the provider did not give the money back to me. In other words, the provider double dipped - got payment from me and from insurance. This went on for many months without my knowing. When I brought the issue to the provider, she wrote me a check of a lesser amount, hoping to strike a deal. The amount she wrote for was less than what the insurance gave to her. The provider made it very difficult to make things right. At this point I stopped my sessions. But because I paid in advance, I kindly asked for a refund for the unused sessions. She said no. I thought the service provided to me was sort of interesting, for neurofeedback. But it is sad that the provider was unscrupulous when it came to money.

Dr. Ibris is phenomenal. She truly cares about her patients and wants to ensure shes provides the best treatment she possibly can. She is kind, considerate, empathetic and very knowledgeable. I would recommend her services to anyone struggling with any mental health issues and their symptoms. You are in good hands with Dr I. Good luck

Dr. V! I could say so much about Dr. V. It's rare that you meet someone who legitimately cares so much about the people they work with. And someone who knows so much about their field. My experience with neurofeedback with Dr. V has been a great one. I had never heard of biofeedback or neurofeedback before meeting her, but after the time I've spent in her Pasadena office I've crossed paths for at least a moment with so many other people who she has helped SO much in their time with her. People from all over Los Angeles and I think even outside Southern California. I recommend her without a shadow of a doubt, I say for sure come see her, get the free consult and at least hear her perspective. I HIGHLY doubt there is anyone more qualified or caring in this field. Much love to everyone reading this and good luck
