I had a great experience learning Mandarin Chinese at this Berlitz location. The teacher I worked with was tremendous and made learning fun. We didn’t always stick to the book and often just practiced simple conversation. Scheduling classes at Berlitz was easy and usually could work around my own schedule.

This school is great! The staff and the teachers are very professional and they take care of every single detail during the learning process. I am taking english classes and I enjoy every single class. I am having an excellent experience.

Living in Southern California I am exposed to Spanish every day - in my work and in my personal life. Last year, I enrolled my son in a Spanish preschool so that he could learn the language of his father and his father‘s family. He slowly begin to gain proficiency in the language, but didn’t enjoy it. (“Mom doesn’t have to, why do I?” Seemed to be his opinion.) So this past spring, I enrolled in a level one course at Berlitz in Pasadena . Given the fact that I had already had so much exposure to Spanish, I started to learn very quickly. It was amazing how much my brain had been storing that I just haven’t been able to comprehend. With the loving guidance and support of my teachers, I began to speak in simple sentences and comprehend even more of the language than I thought possible and just a few short months. My teachers were incredibly patient, kind, funny, and personable. They gave me just enough push to make me uncomfortable, but not quite so much that it was not enjoyable. My brain hurts after the lessons, but it was a good kind of hurt. I knew that I was learning and I felt so accomplished for someone in their mid-30s! I never thought I could learn a language this late in life. I can’t wait to go back for level two and continue on through all of the levels that they offer until I am speaking fluently with my friends, family, is and coworkers.
