image I will return for my hearing issues with this office every time. They are very professional and very friendly. I wished I wouldve found them sooner for my hearing problem. Love this place.

image He is horrible. Beware. If you ask questions he'll tell you it's not worth his time.  Elderly people beware. He was nice to my mom but when I came with the questions he was hell on wheels.

image Satish Koldhekar  was the first hearing specialist I went to and he checked my hearing and calibrated a hearing aid for me.  I was in a quiet room but for the first time in a long while I could understand what my wife was saying.  I was not able to wear a pair for a week to really test them.  I have the impression that  Satish Koldhekar really knows how to calibrate hearing aids to ones personal hearing loss in a way better then just following a machine calibration.

image Dr.K and I just didn't hit it off.  First, l have a typical military/hunter hearing loss.  I can't hear high voices, particularly when spoken quickly or heavily accented.  Dr K has a heavy Indian subcontinent accent, speaks quickly and has a high voice.  His office told me to bring in my old aids, and I did.  Dr K seemed offended that I did.  He discovered wax in my left ear, and quickly grabbed my head, inserted a metal tweezer/forceps device and removed it.  No prior permission was asked or granted.  The pressure on the eardrum was unpleasant.  I take a blood thinner - many of us in our 80's do - and he never asked about medications.  That evening blood poured from the ear awakening me because of the wetness and metallic odor.  He must have nicked the deep interior.  It took twelve hours to stop the flow - difficult to apply pressure inside the ear, but insertion of TP and Kleenex with pressure from the index finger finally gets the job done, and the blood loss was not more than a several tbsps.  He said he didn't want my money because I, somewhat sharply said "Do you know what you're doing" when I felt the pressure on my eardrum during the wax performance.  That was a legitimate question as my Googling suggests strongly that removal of earwax should be done in several more benign ways.  I suggest great care before and during any consultation with Dr K.
