        The Chanterelles tasted like an old rubber tire would, horrible texture and no flavor. The baked macaroni was glooopy, stringy, and again flavorless. Could only take one bite. The minestrone was slightly cold (probably microwaved), with awkwardly shaped vegetables, but half edible. The baby leaf salad brought to me that I hadn't ordered was covered in oil. My friend laughed that the meatballs were "maybe the worst (he'd) had". I think the hummus was straight from Trader Joe's. The pita served with it was not warmed. Had to ask twice for a bread basket. The bread was good. The menu selections were terrible. But, maybe it was just those SIX selections. BUT! It's pretty inside, and quiet. The waitress was accommodating, kind and helpful with wine selections. If you're looking for a true fine dining experience, stick to 231 Ellsworth, or Baume if you're into French cuisine.
