        My husband and I went to Vero for a nice dinner, but the experience left a lot to be desired. Our server was curt and unwelcoming. Decent menu items and nice wine list. The food was fine, but above average for the Bay Area in general.

        I've been here three times, once for lunch, twice for dinner. The menu is varied with many delicious offerings. On their current menu, I recommend the mussels appetizer, the calamari, both raviolis, the gnocci, the lasagna, and especially the tagliatelle alla sugo. All are delicious, reasonably priced, and generously portioned. The servers have been attentive and professional. Well-curated wine list. Cozy, attractive space.
