My car is fixed, but not by these guys. I made an appointment at this place because this business is a recommended auto repair by FIXD. I already had the Diagnostic code of P0303 and P0302. We left the car at Meissner. 2 hours later, we got a call from Scott. They couldn't come up with a diagnostic problem. He would have to pull everything out to really see what the problem really was. It was estimated to cost $2500 to $4000 to fix. He topped it off with oil because the oil level was 3/4 low. It cost $209 for no solution. Thank you. I will not recommend this place to anyone. FIXD, I recommend you check before recommending this business as an approved mechanic for repairs. The next day, I called the mobile repair guy. All the codes had been erased from my car. He manually removed the spark plugs, "very bad,"he said. Took out the air filter, "very dirty, very bad". He changed those with brand new ones. Topped off the power steering fluid. Car runs smooth $120 plus $90 parts. Do the math, where did I waste money?

Hello Jocelyn. Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the poor communication concerning the condition of your car. Yes, the two codes you mentioned are misfire codes that will cause the engine to run roughly and we are happy that the spark plugs resolved that issue, but it will only be a temporary repair. Please review your final invoice and you will note the vehicle did have other failure codes set when we first inspected and tested your vehicle, including failure codes for the engine’s turbocharger and EGR system. We believe that you, as the vehicle owner, need to have a complete picture of the overall condition of the vehicle before any repairs are completed. In this case, to properly provide that picture, we would need to spend substantially more time to disassemble under hood components to complete the inspection and testing process. As always, it is your vehicle and the final decision on how to proceed is up to you, but please understand that the issues with your vehicle are not completely repaired and the Service Engine Soon warning light will come back on.
