I have been a patient for several years, when I started seeing the Dr I weighed in @ 296 lbs. I was walking with a cane when I could walk. I had had my 3rd back surgery, they also fused to disks in my neck, lastly I had rotator cup repaired. I spent months before & after the surgeries in pt... Which in some respects was better than the surgeries! But atlast nothing was helping. Then my pain management Dr suggested acupressure... I had tried everything else so why not!?! But their Dr was only in 1 day per week, while he was helping me more than I could have ever thought. I needed more! That's when I found Dr Chen @ the Chinese Medical Center, in Palmdale. Wow what a difference the additional treatments have made! I have lost 80 lbs. I don't use my cane hardly ever and my overall health has improved so much that I can't believe that I was as disabled as I was. Dr. Chen was an MD in China before she retired and moved to California. She loves the United States of America so much that she became a citizen in Jan of 2011.
