I had 3 custom gates made by Universal Iron Works. The cost for the 3 was around $15,000. The photos of the 2 gates below were custom painted by someone else. Although the gates look beautiful, the customer service is horrible. My gates lost the hydrologic and were slamming closed. These gates are very heavy so it was compromising the metal. I contacted Universal iron Works several months ago and again 2 weeks ago and I could not get the owner, Izik to come out to check or service them either time. He never even bothered to call me back and I have not been able to get service from this company! So, I'm updating this review to one star. Customer service is so important when choosing a contractor and customer service goes beyond the initial installation. I would never recommend Universal Iron Works or use them ever again. I am now looking for a reliable company to service my gates.

These people are FANTASTIC!!!!!!!  I'm a property manager and they've helped me again and again with any metalwork I need done in my buildings.  They're prompt, helpful, courteous and, when things are crazy, very patient.  I can't say enough about them.

I appreciate Iziks gift of vision and design. He conceptualized a wrought iron design around the front perimeter of my home with driveway and pedestrian gate access in a much different way than I was thinking.  This guys a genius!  He and his team made our dreams a reality.  Thank you!

Izik was professional and knowledgeable and he gave us a great price on security doors for our patios. They were beautifully made, sturdy, stable, and exactly what I wanted. The doors were installed in a timely manner and Izik even called to follow-up and make sure I was satisfied with the work. Christine was also easy to get a hold of and she was very approachable. She responded to my emails promptly and always followed through with requests. We're very happy with our doors and window grills and would use Universal Ironworks again in the future!
