First time I came here was on a Sunday for the all you can eat buffet/ bottomless mimosas/margaritas. To top it all off live Mariachi! For about $20. You can't beat that!

I frequently have lunch here. They have a buffet that is reasonably priced. The atmosphere is nice and polished. The wait staff is very attentive. I tried the roast with mashed potatoes. It was a little tough but otherwise well seasoned. The potatoes were outstanding. My friend had the salmon with pesto. It was well cooked and flavorful.

Since I can't give a zero, I give it a 1. First off, the brunch is usually pretty good. I will admit that. Recently, last Sunday night, my friend and I went in to have a beer and some dinner before a movie. The menu is all over the place. They have pasta, pizza, claim chowder, tortilla soup, etc. Nothing made sense. I ordered the mole which I am pretty certain was left over chicken from the brunch earlier. The sauce was not homemade and if the owner of this place would like to challenge me on that, bring it on. Chicken was dry to say the least and there was hardly any there. Second, the veg pasta my friend ordered was bland and again, left over from the brunch earlier. I know mine was microwaved 100%. Also, the crowd that was in the bar was rude to the sweet bartender. One of the owners actually snapped his fingers like a rude piesa. The restaurant was empty and now I understand why. I initially figured it was a slow Sunday night in Oxnard but once we went outside, we saw that the other 2 Mexican restaurant next door were packed. The food was over priced, the staff, minus the older gentleman who took are order and the bartender, where unprofessional and seemed to be having to much fun drinking with thieir drunk friends. I want to end this with a challenge to the owner: If you believe that what I am saying is a lie, or I came in on a bad night, then I will give you my email address and or phone number and will give you a redo. The only reason I am willing to do this is because I support our local restaurants completely and the fact that I have been to your brunch many times and have enjoyed it. I will gladly take this review down and do another one. The choice is yours. As of now, I will never go back again!
