Redwood Trails Horse Rides

Just posting to confirm that we have experienced today the same thing as Tiffany has mentioned. We arrived on time but the business owner postponed it to 20 minutes later. We waited and waited, only got a second message saying that they have to cancel the appointment because of a flat tire. We only have 3 days in Redwood thus every hour is carefully planned, now all the afternoon plans are messed up. Giving 2 stars because the owners seem to have a hard time this year. I believe they used to offer awesome service as other comments described. Hope they recover soon.

This ride was absolutely beautiful. We did the 1/2 day ride and it was all that and more! The horses were in great condition and more than willing to go! The trails were mostly wide with some switchbacks. With it being a half day ride and on a Friday, it was just my friend and I and Sherry our trail guide. Sherry was great! She took her time and didn’t rush us in a “timeframe”. Lois the owner, communicated quickly when texted and was very nice. I would definitely come back and do this ride again!

Really disappointed. Both called and texted to confirm our trip two days before planned, and then waited for over an hour by a locked gate. Our calls and text went unanswered, and 5min after we left we received a text saying sorry, she thought we cancelled, and then said she was sick. Her voicemail says she has no reception - very unprofessional to not get us word that she wasn't coming. This ordeal wasted over half a day of travel time since she booked the ride for 1pm.
