I called Husted Plumbing due to a leaky valve. When Matthew from Husted Plumbing arrived, he inspected it and informed me that it may just need for a part to be tightened. If that was the case, I would not be charged for his visit. This astonished me, as that has never happened before in my many experiences with plumbers! I was thrilled, to say the least, by his honesty and kindness. He even waited to ensure that the valve's leak was fixed before he left. Matthew was courteous, professional, and informative; I will definitely call Husted Plumbing in the future, and tell my friends about them as well!

Jeff arrived 5 minutes BEFORE the scheduled window for the appointment. (That's a GOOD thing in my book.) Super professional and clean from his neat appearance, good manners and booties over his work shoes. Did the job quickly, cleaned up after himself and even laughed at my lame attempts at humor. To top it all off it was a few dollars LESS than the estimate. How often does that happen? Thanks Husted Plumbing and thanks Jeff!

I had to have my old gas line, which runs from my house to the meter, replaced before SoCalGas could install the new digital retrofit. I called Husted and asked if they had licensed people to install gas lines. I was assured they did. After signing a contract which seemed excessively high, they spent two days trenching and laying the line. Today the technician from the gas company came to install the retrofit, and informed me that when Husted reinstalled the gas meter they put it in backwards, and when they opened the valve, the gas began to leak, which means that since November 28th my gas line has been leaking. The company overcharged me, broke my water line while trenching, left a mess behind, and did not check to see that the job was completed safely. There was absolutely no quality control. Are there other gas meters they have installed incorrectly which are currently leaking? This company should not be installing gas lines. SoCalGas has installed a new meter safely and correctly. I am lucky they had to come and work on the meter or I would never have know this.
