I have surfed Bryne (Michael Baron) boards for 15 years now and love them. He will shape you exactly what you want and you will get for much less than a shop board. Although the benefit of a shop board is that you can surf it the same day. You could pay a ton more for a Rusty or Merrick and they are great boards, I have surfed then before and even a HIC, but Michael is an excellent shaper and a very nice guy. I gave him the measurements and talked with him on the phone and even emailed a picture of some paint I wanted on the board and I only had to make one trip to the OC, Oceanside County. I ordered one of those Stingers, I think that is what some call them. Kind of a Thruster/Fish. Anyways I saw that there were no reviews and thought I would enter one. Aloha...
