Kumon Math and Reading Center of OCEANSIDE - SOUTH

It takes too long to catch up to where you are in school and where you actually need help with im class and well this place doesn't really help also. Not to mention the amount of work you get and everyday and not to mention it will stack with school work making MORE things to do and less free quality time.

So this is from my experience in 2010, I'm now an adult in a professional setting but this experience I had was so bad that I have to write about it 11 years later. I was set up with this program cause I did poorly in geometry (which was a result of my ADHD which has since been dealt with) and let me tell you, they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help improve my scores with it. You're given a test before attending and it placed me in a math that was far below what I was currently in during high school. I get it, you have to work your way from the bottom up but that doesn't help when I needed help on an advanced class and was given beginner problems to work on. They also gave an insane amount of homework, just imagine having pages and pages of basic division problems when you're struggling in geometry. Stay away from this place. There are better resources out there then this facility.

My son was it Kumon for 2 years and made tremendous progress in his reading level. They were great at teaching him at the level he needed to be at and made sure he mastered each one before moving into the next. We are very thankful for all the help and support of Kumon!

My son, who is a first grader, had fallen so behind with reading at the beginning of the pandemic, when he was in kindergarten. Kumon has not only helped him catch up with reading, but he has also significantly improved his penmanship and reading comprehension. He developed a routine of consistent and timely homework completion and preparedness for his Kumon sessions. He went from barely reading to 2nd grade level reading in less than one year. This improvement has helped boost his confidence level and he now takes pride in reading in his class. His reading skills improvement reflects on his report card and I can't wait to see his next report. We know where to go should he need help again. Thank you, Ms. Thanh, for a wonderful program.

Ok to begin with why this place is awful, 1 it's reptive and boring it takes years to get to grade you're actually on and need help on but they don't anything about it instead they give a whole lots of work and except us ro complete in 4 minutes. That's the average time. 2. It brings stress to people, I seen a few kids cry inside or going in but that was a few times. Also it's pricey too. You can learn more from a yt video from 2007. I've seen more bad reviews too and most of it is the same reason that I said. Also a 2007 math video helps more than this "helpful program" I
