Nightingale Photography

Long before I ever knew I would get engaged, I had come across Christinas work on Instagram and signed up to receive her newsletters. I just liked seeing the portraits she shot and I loved the pictures she shared on her blog. When I eventually was looking for a wedding photographer, booking someone of her caliber seemed out of the question. I just assumed her services would be outside of our budget. After she told me she was available on our wedding date and shared her pricing, we found a package that worked for us and it turned out to be one of the best wedding decisions we made. I could go on and on about Christina as a person, but heres the gist for anyone considering booking her as their wedding photographer: - Shes kind. If you want good, calming, positive, and patient energy around you on your wedding day, shes the one. No matter what hiccups (that had nothing to do with her) came up on our wedding day, Christina continued to assure us that there was plenty of time to accomplish all of the things that we had planned to get photographed. The other vendors at my wedding enjoyed working with Christina, too. Thats so important! - If you can work it into your budget and your schedule, book an engagement session with Christina. My husband is not a fan of getting his picture taken. Meeting Christina months before our wedding and getting him comfortable with her rhythm and taking direction from her made the photography portion of our wedding day run so much more smoothly than it otherwise would have. Also, I used the engagement photos she took for so many wedding-related things (wedding decor, invitations, seating chart board, etc.). - Shes fast. Christina is busy and in high demand, as she should be. So, I did not expect to receive any sneak peaks within a few weeks of our wedding. But she shocked us by turning around over 130 photos, less than two days after our wedding! And, the photos are exquisite. Christina is also fast when actually taking photos. She has a vision and gets the shot so quickly. You dont feel like youre posing for a long time or getting restless because shes already taken the shot and is on to the next thing. Then, you see the photos afterward and are amazed by the quality, movement, and texture that she captures in the photo. - Christina is flexible. Not only did Christina encourage me to change multiple times during our engagement shoot, so that I could have shots with different looks to choose from, she also welcomed our 13-year old dog to join us during the shoot. Our dog was also the ringbearer at our wedding, and the shots of him that were taken will always be cherished. Christina is my dream photographer and the memories captured from our wedding and our engagement session are seared into my brain as art because I adore them so much. Her work is worth every penny.

Christina is a fabulous photographer! She is creative and easy to work with. As a wedding planner, it's important to me to work with photographers that can be flexible and also provide great products. Christina does both! The photos from our last wedding gave us the feeling we were back there; that's not easy to do with photos! Would be happy to book and recommend Nightingale Photography again.

There's nobody better than Christina and her team! Ovee the years I have done fun headshots and other shots with her and have always loved the final result. There was no question when it was time to get married that Christina would be my first call!And she didn't disappoint! My fiancé and I loved her energy during the engagement session and then the day of the wedding. Her positive spirit and attention to detail made us feel so calm and comfortable the entire time. There's nobody better -- I highly recommend Christina and Nightingale Photography for ALL your needs! We couldn't be happier with the results!

We've worked with a lot of photographers and Christina at Nightingale Photography was amazing! This was our first time working with her and our family photos are my favorites ever! She really brought out the joy, playfulness and love in our family. Her photos are not overly edited as many are now and their natural beauty shines through. She suggested a wonderful location and was fun to work with during the shoot. When my daughters wanted to climb a nearby tree, we turned it into another batch of photos and they turned out so beautifully. We will definitely work with Christina again!

We were blown away by the photos that Christina took for our engagement photo session at Lands End and Baker Beach!  Christina was super easy to work with in arranging the session, picking out outfits, and knew how to capture amazing shots during our sunset shoot.  This was our first time working with a photographer and we really appreciated the specific directions and instructions she gave to help us get good shots.  We will definitely use her again in the future and highly recommend that you do too!
