I worked here under the leadership of Juan, as I worked at the Stockton Metro Airport. Things were fine as long as you accepted every overtime you're pressed to do for them it seemed. He would say that me and my brother were some of his best guards (as we followed protocol well and took all the overtime he begged us to do) and when I finally quit, he turned around and said I never showed up to work. The supervisor even acted like talking about me was something he might get in trouble for. I did not put in a two week notice, since I was unwell and had to leave, but he knew I was going. They treat their guards as just another body. That phrase echoed through all the guard shacks I went to. Everyone knew their worth, and it wasn't much. As for US Security Associates, I worked for them too before they were bought out by this company. I quit because I refused to deal with Juan or his garbage again. My supervisor called me personally and DEMANDED I return and speak with her. I said no, sorry, I don't work for you any longer. She went on a yelling rant for about ten seconds and just hung up. Like a child wanting to get the last word during a tantrum. I will not be returning to security, as I've seen just how cutthroat and unprofessional the job really is. There was even a time USSA had a guard come in when he was so drunk, he threw up on site. (They drove him there and back) All they care about is if you can breathe and stand at your post. Sorry this is so long, but do your research and get a GOOD and PROFESSIONAL company to work for if you enjoy this kind of thing. Because it isn't here.
