My partner and I already had a realtor when we went to an open house and met Lauren. We were immediately impressed with all that makes Lauren the best realtor in the bay area: her warm and caring disposition combined with a formidable knowledge and interest in the real estate industry from all angles. She is so quick to respond to our questions, and goes the extra mile to dig into every aspect of home buying. We got our home - actually we close on our home in 2 days!-  with Lauren's good judgement guiding us.  If she doesn't have the answer, she'll get the answer. She is also knowledgable in the design realm, and really helped us work out solutions to some challenges in our new home. She has a great eye also! We have so enjoyed the journey with Lauren, which I think is pretty rare in this endeavor!

Lauren Kilbourne is awesome! We met Lauren during our initial house touring in Oakland in summer 2021. We struck up a casual conversation and Lauren quickly impressed us by knowing every house we liked - the selling points, pros/cons of the neighborhood, which ones had sold excessively over asking, and what she thought others would actually sell for. (She was spot on.) After a few of our preferred houses sold for prices we could actually afford, we pulled the trigger and hired Lauren. She is extremely detail oriented, walking us through every step of the offer process and recommended quality local lender options. Once our offer was accepted in September 2021, she did a fantastic job of supporting us through the closing process with clear communication about timelines and was readily available to answer all of our first-time buyer questions. She provided a detailed summary of the disclosures package which helped us understand the magnitude and relative significance of everything noted as well as provided recommendations for contractors to help with the necessary work. Lauren made the entire process enjoyable through her positive professional approach.
