First new "Happy" find on my college walk north of the Rockridge Bart station. The place is rockin' lots of color for home indoor and outdoor reminding us all how beautiful California living is. You can colorful table cloths that will brighten any outdoor barbecue you plan to have this summer or next. I ended up buying a tablecloth full of oranges! Did a little Christmas pre-shopping for friends who hold California dear to them but moved away for all sort of reasons. Bought a beautiful Californian with a golden Poppy, the states official flower. I would encourage all to put this on your next must visit. And their clothing for the little ones in your life.

Came upon this new woman-run small business just up College from Trader Joes. Its a quaint gift shop with nostalgia merchandise from the 50s & 60s, camper/RV and southwest desert themed products, handmade botanical jewelry, ethnic items - talavera tiles, etc, clothing, and kitsch. Very friendly service and atmosphere. Covid precautions in place. Prices are reasonable. Support small business and check it out!

Whst a gem of a store! Perfect for unique holiday gifts.  Particularly great selection of local Oakland-inspired items as well as gifts for your favorite feminist friends. (Loved the large RBG section!)
