I was humiliated by the staff and management. Restaurant accepts Visa card. I treated a friend to dinner. Gave them my Visa gift card for $100. They refused to accept based on not having a chip on the card. Now I’ve used my gift cards in almost every restaurant I’ve been to and never had a problem. Management came to our table and pretty much yelled at us in front of the customers. It was appalling. They had no real explanation of why they wouldn’t accept the cards even though we explained that all they had to do was click “credit” on their machine and use as a credit card. They refused and rolled their eyes at us throwing their hands up in the air. Bad attitude from staff and even worse attitude from management. I’ll never eat here again. Ps. There were no signs displayed stating gift cards were not accepted there. He told us that it should have been “obvious.” What was obvious was that we weren’t welcome there from the moment we walked in the door. Never again.
