Joanna is the best headshot photographer in LA! I have gotten headshots with her twice now and both times I have been in complete awe of the all around quality of her work. She is extremely talented and very knowledgeable. In the past, my headshots with other photographers did not turn out well at all, so it is such a relief to have found someone I could trust with something as important and career defining as headshots. If you are a serious actor who wants the best of the best and is willing to pay a little extra for high quality, then I highly recommend Joanna.

I usually spend my headshot sessions riddled with anxiety over whether I'm going to get shots I'm happy with-- not this time. It was a relaxed, efficient shoot; for once I didn't feel exhausted afterwards. Joanna and her makeup artist Kate were so wonderful about making any adjustments I requested; Joanna immediately caught when even a single hair was out of place that would normally have torpedoed a whole string of otherwise good photos. I was especially grateful that she gave excellent guidance when I asked her opinion, while also completely supporting my vision whichever direction I asked to go. I never felt on my own or like I had to fight to be understood, both of which have frequently frustrated me in the past. The photos are specific, unique, and lit like a dream. Her studio and staff are excellent. Highly recommend booking with Joanna!

Joanna is pure magic! If I could give her 10/10 I would! Shes fun and truly cares about her clientswhether its your first time or fifth time with her she wants you to be involved in it all!! I think that speaks VOLUMES about her! From the moment you start your session you become a team! The turnaround time for photos is amazing! Her studio is spacious and can work for anyone! Lots of natural light and its a space that is wheelchair accessible! If youre looking to have standout headshots this is the place to be! I promise you wont regret it!!
