I used to West Coast Movers to move me out of an apartment, provide short term storage, and then to ship my belongings across the country. They came highly recommended. The two men who assisted were courteous and helpful. The dispatcher, who I had most of my dealings was perfectly friendly on the phone up through the move, if not a little unreliable in response times. When I received my belongings, however. I discovered that a number of items were missing. Large items. A valuable leather suitcase and its contents. A large ornate Indian mirror. I was also delivered items that belonged to other people--items of worthless value, but packed and numbered in the sequence that we were using...which leads me to believe that the missing items were taken on purpose. I wrote to the company 5 times. No response. I called repeatedly to ask to speak to the dispatcher who had been my main point of contact. He would never take the call. Throughout this process, I remained courteous. I can only say that this company is totally unprofessional based on my experience, and it is very disappointing to have "lost" two items that were both valuable and sentimentally relevant.
