Shop at St Croix in Newport Beach at your own peril.  I purchased a grey mock turtle neck sweater - the Steve Jobs style - from St. Croix last year.  I wore it about 10 times over last winter, and then began to notice a flaw to the cloth just a couple of inches below the front neck band.  It became a growing area stretching from 1 inch to almost 4 inches across the front.  I took it back for an exchange, and they refused to exchange this $185 garment for a replacement, even though the garment was obviously in perfect condition.  IN OTHER WORDS, ST CROIX IS NOT NORDSTROMS!  Instead, they took my shirt and sent it back to the St. Croix factory for repair.  Two months later it came back "not" repaired.  St. Croix's solution was to send me back the seater, with a $25 gift certificate that requires a $150 purchase to use.  I got it in the mail yesterday - December 23, 2014 - and the certificate is good until January 31, 2015.  How generous!  I recommend that if you would like to purchase one of these Steve Jobs style mock turtle neck sweaters (I have several that are amazing garments), that you do so from hansensclothing.com online.  Hansens cares about customer service!  AVOID ST CROIX IN NEWPORT BEACH AT ALL COSTS.
