Don't waste your time with the Newport Beach, CA office. Dealt with a loan officer who clearly couldn't be bothered to understand my unique financial situation. Found another company (Seacoast Marine Finance, highly recommended ask for Travis) that wanted to do business and now enjoying my new sailboat.

I rarely submit reviews, but this one is a must. I highly recommend Trident Funding. My husband and I worked with Loan Representative Jim Weston who was very kind, professional, responsive and supportive. He worked hard at getting us the best rate and the best term. He followed up with on a consistent basis and thoroughly explained the process of purchasing a boat. Most of all he was patient and kind. Very poor follow up on closing a boat loan out of the California region. I would recommend finding another provider with all the problem I had. The rep would not get back with me after emails and phone calls.
