LOFT Outlet

For probably close to a decade, I have been a fan of LOFT and LOFT Outlet stores. Most of their clothes fit me well and I considered the clothing to usually be well made. But over the last couple years, I have noticed the quality of the clothing diminishing. Just like many other brands, an item rarely lasts much longer than a season. And over the last two years, this store has had a major reboot in staff and management. The last time I was in I wasn't greeted when I entered the store even though both of the staff were at the front desk. However, this visit, I was welcomed as soon as I came in. I went in specifically looking for belts and was surprised that they no longer offer them. My back-up purpose for my visit was to find some t-shirts. And though the store seemed almost empty of merchandise compared to how I remember it being stocked a few years ago, there were several choices of short and long sleeved tees. I had three items to try on and not being spoken to since my initial greeting, I headed back and found an empty fitting room. I came out once to grab a size from the petite section and one of the staff was putting away clothing. She was too focused on that to notice me or ask if I needed any help. When I came back out with the new size on, a different staff member was in the area and was friendly and made some comments to me and another customer. As usual, they had many different sales and promotions offered so I was happy with the prices. The biggest change is that instead of the friendly, engaged staff that I'm used to my experience felt just like it does when I walk into most of the Napa Outlet Mall stores - that having to provide me with service is an inconvenience to them rather than their job. The bright spot was that I did run into Annie - the only sales associate left that I know. She stopped in and we got to catch up a bit!

They have a great selection of cheap camisoles and cardigans, especially for petites like me.  I usually swing by to stock up on the basics.  The quality is not bad for the price either.  Too bad they don't have a store at the Great Mall!

Never been to the Loft Outlet, but my friend had recently scored some really cute dresses there. Came to this store, and a lot of the items were really cute. An employee immediately helped me by taking all the clothes I was picking out and started a dressing room for me. Cardigans and sweater tops were all incredibly cheap, as the majority of things were on sale on top of the outlet discount. A friend got a really cute infinity scarf here as well. The employees were incredibly helpful and friendly here. Store is large and very organized.
