Purchased a 2022 RC390. All the information online says is had blue tooth and works with KTM connect. I purchased the KTM navigation from the app and 3days after owning motorcycle find out they had a shortage of chips so it was not on my bike. Would have purchased a different bike this was a feature that pulled me to this bike over the ninja. Will be my first and last KTM. I will be upgrading back to a ninja soon as I can find a buyer. Bad thing is dealers don't even know about this.

Years back I owned a few of their dirt bikes and a 690 enduro and all were great. Recently bought a new 890 Duke R to menace the mountains with and after trailering it home I noticed a dent on the right side of the tank. Called the dealer and they said "tough luck...your problem". I was in a hurry that day and with the exception of tying it down in my trailer, the salesman and I spent no time on the right side and we never went over the bike. Heck, it was new, what could be wrong? So I called a couple other dealers and they mentioned that they had new bikes with dents in the tanks that were delivered to them that way from KTM. So I called the KTM North America office and guess what they said? Yep, "tough luck and bad on you for not catching it at the dealership" The customer service guy at Corporate just made me a 'never KTM guy'. Other issues with the bike, bad radiator cap the spits coolant and drains the over flow reservoir on every ride. Nicks and scratches all over the bike that I only noticed after getting the bike home. KTM quality control apparently left the house.

KTM makes good bikes. But their product support is diabolical. I bought 2 new Gas Gases within a month of each other. Nice bikes except for the cheesy kickstands. ( redesigned in 2023) The bolts on both kickstands broke and sent the springs flying across my shop which could have easily hurt someone.Then KTM had the audacity to say that it was my fault since the kickstands both broke on the same day.They denied the claim even though both bikes were under warranty. Really? So I contacted the dealer that I purchased the bikes from and they covered the kickstands and sent me two brand new ones.
