Murphy's Design Center

We worked with Aaron and his wife for over a year on our project.  They went well beyond our expectations in the design phase and continued to surprise us with subtleties during the construction that we had missed.  Their work, project timing, details, and budget performance were all outstanding.  There weren't any unpleasant surprises.  We intend to use them again in a couple of years to design and build a four bedroom home on a hillside.  Lastly, the Millers still keep in touch with us and we never felt like just another customer, they both truly care about their product and reputation.

This area is so lucky to have such talented people! I worked with Lori on a remodel of my first home and instantly felt at ease walking into MDC. She has great style and knowledge of materials, design and functionality. Aaron planned out our kitchen remodel and made it into such a wonderful, functioning space. Lori had great recommendations for everything from paint, flooring, tile and just the little details that made the house so much lovelier in the end. They were able to work within our budget and help us get everything we wanted and more. Both of them were kind, patient and incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. I couldn't recommend Murphys Design Center more!

We worked with Aaron and Murphy's Design Center to build our vacation home in Arnold, about there hours away from our primary residence.  When selecting a builder, we were looking for someone who could do a design-build process, was mindful of budget, who we could trust thoroughly, and who could work with our more modern aesthetic.  We met Aaron, visited two of the recent homes he had completed, and were immediately confident, he was the best person to work with.  During the design process, Aaron did a great job at listening to our wish list for our home, and coming up with multiple different design plans for us to choose from.  He designed a home to maximize our budget, using thoughtful design to save money in some areas, so we could invest more on finishes that were important to us.  We spent many hours with Aaron and Lori at the Design Center, choosing every detail for the home.  Their eye for design was enormously helpful.  Aaron also has an impeccable attention to detail.  The wood and finish work in our home, from the stairs and beams, to the flooring and trim, is so well done, and something everyone that visits our home comments on.  We often get asked if it was hard building a home in Arnold, when we lived far away.  We always say how easy it was, because we had an amazing builder.  We highly recommend Aaron and his team.

Murphy Design Center is a place to go if you want your ideas to become a reality.  Aaron listens and advises and then uses the resources, designers, artists and sub contractors he knows to pull it all together.  My project was a loft railing that was stylish and unique, but fit into our classic chalet cabin.  Aaron gave advise on what would work and what would not work, which is exactly what I wanted.  Together with Brian Inks of Firefly Designs they worked together to create a wood and metal railing that I enjoy looking at everyday.

MDC, Aaron, Lori & Lisa are great. 2 and a half years ago I was designing my new Day Spa on a budget. I went in to check out a current project they were working on & get some ideas from the showroom. Very inspiring in helping me define my vision. With their help we took a suite in a bank building & created a modern zen oasis.
