Between their honest business practices and guidance, they made my experience easy and worry free. There were stalls with my homeowners insurance claim and they were able to help move it along. I've utilized Jordan and his team for a variety of jobs (AC Repair, tile and grout work, baseboard repair/replace, and most recently the remodeling of my backyard and pool). Jordan is extremely thorough and takes the time properly vet out the project. I did not have any cost increases throughout my job other than the change orders that i put in for myself. His team has an excellent attention to detail and they are all warm and polite. I would highly recommend his services to anyone I know. I had an insurance claim and chose builders Innovation Group for the job. It started off well until I had major issues with them: They have taken 10 months and are not done with the job and also now not responding. They want most of the money and take off for weeks, no notice. They will not give you an estimated schedule of repair. I asked over 10 times. Now they are contacting my insurance company telling them they are done and asking for more money despite the job being incomplete. Not one person they sent to the job had an active contractors license. They sent an unexperienced worker to set toilets and my bathtub, he caused further water damage as they toilets werent connected to the water supply correctly and the tub drain was installed incorrectly. This flooded my garage. They treated my house like a test house. They wont respond now on finishing my kitchen backsplash, cabinet door, and gfci plug ins that they put back as regular ones. They didnt install insulation as I requested after drywall repair. They were paid for moving my furniture, storing it, painting my entire garage, hanging drapes - when it came time to perform the services they werent movers etc. my water pressure is very low now and they wont come look at it. Im concerned that plumbing work was performed without a contractors license. Update: On October 1 2021 We went up against a Jordan Box and his attorney at arbitration. The state contractor license board ruled in our favor. Shes been waiting 30 days and as of November 5th there was still no check. Not surprised. This speaks to who he is. He knows full well her living conditions and her disabilities yet he adds insult to injury by not immediately paying her. He is yet again dragging this out. Classy??????Beware, if you have an insurance claim Jordan will attempt to escalate to claim to get more money. Be sure to ask him for line items since he tends to avoid detailing what hes charging you for. Pat Miller is a disabled senior. She is 81 years old and legally blind. Pat has filed a complaint against the Builders Innovation group. Jordan Box, from the Builders Innovation group. Here is a brief summary of some of the events. March 25th Pat requested that I speak to Jordan Box. He was requesting $1000 deposit and an additional $15,000 to start the job. I requested further information about what the $15,000 was for. Jordan told me it was ONLY for the material. 12,000 for the kitchen cabinets and 3,000 for bathroom materials. He said that the kitchen cabinets could take 4-6 weeks to come in. He promised to provide work orders to show that the items were ordered and paid for. Pat was desperate to put her home back together so she agreed and wrote him the checks. On April 4th Pat was told by Jordon and his associates that they would NOT communicate with me, her realtor. I felt it was strange however I told Pat that they don't have to speak with me if they don't want to. I said if anything strange happened to call me. On April 15th Pat called me. She said Jordan Box had sent her an invoice for cabinets for $15,000. The contract specifically stated that all that was owed next was a progress payment once the master bathroom, master bedroom, and 2nd bedroom were completed. Pat told me the 2nd bedroom was finished but no work had started in the kitchen and her master bathroom was not done only drywalled.I called Jordan. He verbally stated he needed the $15,000 to reimburse himself for the labor that he was out of pocket. I reminded him that the next progress payment was $8000 according to the contract. I reminded him that the agreed-upon work wasnt completed. I tried to reason with him. A plumber was scheduled for that Monday and his cost was 4500. It was not a part of the original bid so I asked Jordan if Pat could pay the plumber on Monday and pay the $8000 progress payment on Friday when the bathroom was finished and work on the kitchen had begun. All Pat wanted was for Jordan BOx to stick to the agreed contract. He refused and said he would give Pat until Monday, April 28th to pay him 15000 and after that, he would charge her $400 a day.Pat did not feel comfortable moving forward because he had not finished the work he promised. She did not feel comfortable paying an additional 15,000 when she didn't have anything in writing clarifying what it was for. Pat asked me to write an email canceling the contract since she is legally blind and could not do so herself. We requested a line item from Jordan for work completed in order to finalize what was owed. The line-item Jordan sent over contained no details and he claimed Pat owed him over 17,000. I was able to correlate the line items with the estimate provided to the insurance company. I found multiple discrepancies. I tried to address these discrepancies in several emails and texts. I had another contractor come out and he was able to confirm that much of what Jordan Box was trying to charge for was not done. On June 8th we found out that Jordan Box had the cabinet guy return the cabinets and give him all the money back. He took funds for material that was never delivered. I highly recommend Builder's Innovation Group. My wife and I hired them to build us a backyard patio and awning, and landscape the yard with a new lawn. The job as a whole had a lot of moving parts and a variety of work to be done, and BIG has done an excellent job of orchestrating everything and giving us the yard of our dreams. They stay in contact daily and give progress reports, as well as plans for the next day/week, and we never have to guess what is going to happen or how long something will take to get completed. BEST construction company I have ever used! Service: General construction
